This project was a commission as much as a collaboration between the clients and myself. After several stages of drafting and design I chose to make this piece from walnut and chose maple as the accents and bow ties. The project was a large undertaking as it was the biggest and most complex piece of furniture I have made to date. Despite the challenges I faced while working on this project it has only increased my desire to take on larger scale projects with complex designs.
